Role summary
Register for bank and emergency cover opportunities where providers request short notice staff and where your checks and availability are suitable.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to confirmed availability requests, attend agreed shifts, follow local instructions, communicate professionally and complete safe handovers.
Requirements
Recent care experience, strong reliability and up to date documents are important for short notice work. Some emergency placements may require BILD accredited PMVA training.
Full PMVA training that is BILD accredited is an added advantage and may be required for some placements. Applicants who already hold BILD accredited PMVA training may be prioritised for suitable roles.
DBS and right to work
DBS checks, update service evidence or a new DBS process may be required depending on the placement.
Applicants must provide evidence of right to work in the UK before placement. AVA Care Recruitment is not currently issuing Certificates of Sponsorship.
