Role summary
Register for support worker roles in supported living, community support, learning disability, autism, mental health and complex needs settings.
Responsibilities
Promote independence, follow support plans, maintain professional boundaries, support routines, communicate clearly, record information appropriately and raise concerns promptly.
Requirements
Experience in supported living, mental health, learning disability, autism support or complex care may be useful. Behaviour support or de-escalation experience may be requested for some placements.
Full PMVA training that is BILD accredited is an added advantage and may be required for some placements. Applicants who already hold BILD accredited PMVA training may be prioritised for suitable roles.
DBS and right to work
DBS checks, update service evidence or a new DBS process may be required depending on the placement.
